Anyone familiar with Bay View will remember that Blackbird Bar opened on South Kinnickinnic Avenue back on election night in 2008. There was fun to be had by all, with perks including: reasonably-priced drinks (especially compared to the east side), a couple of pinball machines, a smoke-free back section (before the smoking ban was placed into effect), and several large booths.
Since the apocalypse, this place has not served as a business, is poorly lit, and has almost crumbled away to nothing. For the most part, Bay View was relatively peaceful before the apocalypse occurred, but obviously since then it has been all about survival. You will find many people seeking what shelter is left in this decently-sized bar, and is primarily used as a place for rest. Alcohol is still served, but the cost fluctuates on the bartender's mood (although there is truly no set bartender). It is not too hostile of a place, but in the post-apocalypse, you never know when tensions will flare.
